Behind the scenes of the “Siren of the Sea” photo shoot shows a completely different look from the styled photos at the ship yard and church yard.

Gear Info

And for fellow photographers, here is some pertinent gear info. The shop images were predominantly shot with a Nikon D750 and 85mm f/1.8 lens. But we still shot at a ridiculously high ISO of 10000-12800 to preclude using flash. Then we cleaned up some of the excessive noise in post processing.

Accessories and Props

As for accessories and props, model Vicktoria Orshall used some of the same from the day’s shoot.

Then we added a few items that were close at hand – Vicktoria’s iPhone and a Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville hat and old Bentley WX-3 camera I had in my bag.
