You know some weddings are going to be extraordinary before they even happen. When we heard Sarah and John’s plans for saying, “I do,” this August, we couldn’t wait! It was going to be the perfect Crystal Coast wedding.

Sarah and John started their day on the beach in beautiful Emerald Isle. I love photographing a bride and groom getting ready for their special day. Excitement is in the air as the months of planning and preparation move toward that magic moment. A beach cottage by the sea was the perfect backdrop for their “first look.”

Sarah and John chose to tie the knot under a canopy of live oak trees along Bogue Sound. It was a mixture of Sherwood Forest and Never Never Land, gorgeous and intoxicating. It was the perfect location for this surfer guy and his surfer girl to unite as one.
